GB/T 34020.3-2017 is the English-translated version of 双层卷焊钢管 第3部分：空调和制冷设备管路系统用管.
GB/T 34020.3-2017 is Part 3 of GB/T 34020 and covers the double wall copper brazed steel tubes used in the piping systems of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
It fixes the classification, the dimensions, shape, weight and tolerances, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the packaging, marking and quality certificate, and it applies to the piping, connecting pipes and evaporative cooling pipes of household air conditioners and of small and medium central air conditioning and refrigeration plant.
Its terms are those of Part 1 of the same standard. The methods it cites cover the hydraulic, flaring, bending and flattening tests on metal tube, coating thickness by coulometry, magnetic method and microscopy, eddy current inspection of pipe defects and salt spray corrosion. It was issued on 12 July 2017 and has applied since 1 April 2018.

Foreword
GB/T 34020 "double-rolled steel pipe" is divided into three parts.
--- Part 1. Refrigerator piping system tube;
--- Part 2. Automotive piping system tube;
--- Part 3. Air conditioning and refrigeration equipment piping system pipe. This section GB/T 34020 Part 3. This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
1 Scope
GB/T 34020 provisions of this part of the air conditioning and refrigeration equipment piping system double-rolled steel pipe classification and code, size, outside Shape, weight and tolerances, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate.
This section applies to household air conditioners, small and medium-sized central air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, piping systems piping, connecting pipes, evaporative cooling pipes and tubes A double wound steel pipe (hereinafter referred to as "double pipe").
