Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 24590-2009 "Special Tubes for High-Efficiency Heat Exchangers", and the main technical changes compared with GB/T 24590-2009 as follows.

--- Increased the selection range of materials (see Chapter 1 and 7.1.2, Chapter 1 and 6.1.1 of the 2009 edition);

---Added the types of channel pipes and related technical requirements (see 3.6, 5.1, 5.2, 6.4 and 7.4.3);

---Added spiral flat tube and related technical requirements (see 3.7, 5.1 and 6.5);

---Added the order content of special tube (see Chapter 4);

---The size and allowable deviation of the bellows have been modified (see 6.1, 5.2 in the 2009 edition);

---Modified the size specifications and allowable deviations of internal wave external threaded pipes (see 6.2, 5.3 of the 2009 edition);

---Modified T-slot tube size specifications and allowable deviations (see 6.3, 5.1 in the 2009 edition);

---Modified the size specifications and allowable deviations of the channel pipe (see 6.4, 5.4 of the 2009 edition);

---Added the manufacturing method of special tube (see 7.2);

---Modified the delivery status of special tubes (see 7.3, 6.2 of the 2009 edition);

---Deleted the mechanical performance requirements (see 6.3 of the 2009 edition);

---Modified the compactness test requirements (see 7.4, 6.4 and 6.5 in the 2009 edition);

---Added the eddy current testing requirements for compactness (see 7.4.3);

---Modified non-ferrous metal material penetration testing requirements (see 7.5, 6.6 in the 2009 edition);

---Modified the storage requirements (see 11.2, 10.2 in the 2009 edition).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, order content, classification and code, size, shape, weight, and technical requirements of special tubes for high-efficiency heat exchangers.

Requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, quality certificates, transportation and storage.

This standard applies to high-quality carbon structural steels, austenitic stainless steels, duplex stainless steels, nickel and nickel alloys, titanium and titanium alloys for high-efficiency heat exchangers.

Corrugated pipes made of gold, zirconium and zirconium alloys, copper and copper alloys, aluminum and aluminum alloys and nickel-copper alloys, internal waves and externally threaded pipes, T-slot pipes, channel pipes and Special-shaped tubes such as spiral flat tubes (hereinafter referred to as "special-shaped tubes").
