Compared with GB/T 19862-2016, except for the structural... Aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

GB/T 19862-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the power quality monitor - the measurement classes and the accuracy for harmonics, flicker, dips and unbalance, the aggregation intervals and the time synchronisation, the event capture and the storage, and the communication of the results. Issued on 5 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 February 2026, replacing GB/T 19862-2016.
This document specifies the classification and grading of power quality monitoring equipment (hereinafter referred to as "monitoring equipment"), its technical requirements, and describes the corresponding test procedures. The document outlines testing methods and specifies inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage. This document applies to fixed and portable monitoring equipment used in AC power systems, as well as other equipment with power quality monitoring functions. The equipment should be operated according to the instructions.
