The technical differences between this document and IEC 60255-27:2023 and their reasons are as follows.

--- Replaced IEC 60529:1989, IEC 60529:1989/AMD1.1999 and GB/T 4208-2017 with the normative reference IEC 60529:1989/AMD2.2013, the consistency between the several documents is equivalent, so as to unify the reference document version.

Standard application.

--- The insulation resistance of 9.6.4.5.1 "when DC 500V is applied shall not be less than 1Mohm. After the wet heat type test and recovery for 1h~ After 2h, the insulation resistance when DC 500V is applied under reference environmental conditions shall not be less than 1Mohm.

The insulation resistance at 500V should not be less than 100Mohm. After the damp heat type test and recovery for 1h~2h, in the reference environment the insulation resistance should not be less than 10Mohm when DC 500V is applied under the condition.

The insulation resistance is increased from 1Mohm to 100Mohm, which significantly improves the insulation performance index of the product and reduces the risk of leakage or breakdown.

The insulation resistance requirement after the damp heat test is increased from 1Mohm to 10Mohm to ensure that the equipment can still maintain a relatively high insulation resistance in a humid environment.

High insulation performance improves the reliability of equipment under harsh conditions.
