1 Scope

This standard specifies the general rules, the overall method, the measure method, the calculation of the energy saving rate, and the calculation of the energy saving amount.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 23331 apply to this document.

Energy saving

The amount of energy consumption/energy consumption reduced under the condition of meeting the same needs or achieving the same purpose.

Measurable results related to energy efficiency, energy use and energy consumption.

Physical boundaries and site boundaries determined by energy units.

Note 1. A boundary can be a process or a group of processes, a site, an independent device or system, a complete energy unit or an energy unit.
