The companion document for the chemical sector, HG/T 4190-2011, is the recommended standard on energy audits in chemical enterprises. It gives the definition of the audit and settles its content, the methods, the procedure and what the audit report must contain. Chemical production enterprises and other chemical production units keeping independent accounts are the bodies it is meant for. In use it draws on GB/T 2588, GB/T 2589, GB/T 3485, GB/T 3486, GB/T 6422, GB/T 13234, GB/T 15587, GB/T 16664, GB/T 17166 and GB 17167, and on the energy consumption limits of GB 21257, GB 21343, GB 21344 and GB 21345 together with GB/T 21367 and GB/T 23331. Issued on 15 June 2011, it has applied since 1 October 2011.
