Energy-saving diagnosis at fertilizer works is the subject of HG/T 6028-2022, a recommended standard of the Chinese chemical industry. It sets out the basic principles of such a diagnosis, the diagnostic methods and the points to be examined, the sequence of work to be followed, and the requirements for writing the report. The standard is intended for fertilizer producers, among them synthetic ammonia, nitrogen fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer, potash fertilizer and compound fertilizer plants, when they carry out energy-saving diagnosis activities. It was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 30 September 2022 and took effect on 1 April 2023.
