Energy-saving diagnosis in coal chemical enterprises is the subject of HG/T 6029-2022, a recommended Chinese chemical industry standard. It lays down the basic principles of such diagnostic work, the diagnostic methods, the points to be examined, the working procedure and the requirements for writing the report. The standard applies to energy-saving diagnosis carried out by enterprises producing coal-to-natural gas, coal direct liquefaction and coal indirect liquefaction products, coal-to-olefins including the methanol-to-olefins route, and coal-to-ethylene glycol. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it on 30 September 2022, with 1 April 2023 as the date of implementation.
