Scope

GB/T 6422-2009 is the English-translated version of 用能设备能量测试导则.

GB/T 6422-2009 specifies the basic requirements, test conditions, test methods and test report for measuring the energy consumption of energy-using equipment.

Clause 1 applies it to the testing of energy-using equipment, of energy equipment and of systems, and clause 3 frames the exercise as determining, under prescribed conditions, the energy supplied to the equipment, the effective energy and the energy losses, so that its energy efficiency level can be evaluated.

Clause 4 sets the basic requirements: the test is run by the using unit mainly on an energy balance basis, it extends to process equipment involving energy conversion, transmission and distribution and final use, energy balance testing must conform to GB/T 2587, GB/T 3484 and GB/T 8222, and energy measuring instruments and their management must meet GB 17167.

The same clause requires a test programme to be drawn up that determines the test system and the test basis, the parameters to be measured with their measurement and calculation methods, the instrumentation to be selected, the test conditions, duration and parameters, the test record forms and the test outline.

Clause 5 fixes the test conditions, requiring tests under normal operating conditions, allowing a representative unit to be chosen where several devices of the same type exist, averaging the measured data over the specified period and number of tests, and requiring the accuracy class of the instrumentation to comply with the relevant standards; clause 6 then covers the test method and clause 7 the test report.

The foreword records the changes made to the 1986 edition, including the new title, the removal of the two chapters on energy metering equipment and monitoring, the transfer of the old chapter on equipment energy balance testing into the basic requirements, the addition of the chapters on test conditions and test methods, and the promotion of the former provision on preparing the test report into a chapter of its own.

The standard was proposed by the national technical committee for energy and management and is administered by the national technical committee for energy management and the rational use of electricity, and was drafted with the China National Institute of Standardization, the Beijing energy saving and environmental protection centre, Tsinghua University and the Shandong energy conservation supervision corps among the participants.

It replaces GB/T 6422-1986, was issued on March 11, 2009 and has applied since November 1, 2009.

Foreword

This standard replaces GB/T 6422-1986 "enterprise energy measurement and test guidelines." This standard and GB/T 6422-1986 compared to the main changes are as follows.

--- The standard name changed to "energy-using equipment to test guidelines";

--- Since the standard content adjustments, remove some of the terms, and modify the term;

Remove and energy metering equipment used to monitor two chapters all --- original standard;

--- Chapter 7 of the original standard equipment energy balance test to the basic requirements;

--- Original standard 4.1 to 4.3 Delete All;

--- Increase in Chapter 5 and Chapter 6 Test Conditions Test Method;

1 Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements, test conditions, test methods and test reports using equipment energy measurement.

This standard applies to energy-using equipment, energy equipment and systems testing.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

3.1

Conditions for using equipment in the prescribed test its supply of energy, effective energy and energy loss, evaluate the energy efficiency levels.

4 Basic requirements

5 Test conditions

5.1 using equipment under normal operating conditions tested.

5.2 for the same type of multiple devices, you can select a representative device, the number of units to be tested.

5.3 within the specified period and the number of tests, the measured data should be averaged.

5.4 test instrumentation accuracy level, should comply with the relevant standards.
