3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 32150 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 electrical and electronic industry A comprehensive industry engaged in the design and manufacture of electrical equipment, electronic components, electronic systems and related products.
Note. Electrical equipment typically includes power system equipment such as generators, transformers, motors, and power distribution devices; electronic components and systems include semiconductor devices, integrated circuits, and other electronic components. Integrated circuits, communication equipment, consumer electronics, etc.
3.2 Zero-carbon factory Within a certain period, greenhouse gas emissions from production and related management processes, even after voluntary emission reductions, will result in residual emissions. (Quantity) A factory that achieves 100% offsetting through a certain method.
3.3 carbon credit A tradable certificate representing greenhouse gas emissions generated through greenhouse gas emission reduction or greenhouse gas reduction projects.
Note. One carbon credit certificate is equivalent to 1 ton of carbon dioxide equivalent. [Source: ISO 14068-1.2023, 3.3.2, with modifications]
