Scope

GB/T 5237.1-2017 is the English-translated version of 铝合金建筑型材 第1部分:基材.

Part 1 of China's national standard for architectural aluminium alloy extruded profiles, covering mill finish material. This is the base of the whole series: the profile as it comes from the press, before any surface treatment, and the substrate on which Parts 2 to 6 build their anodised, powder coated, painted and thermally broken products. Nearly every window, door, curtain wall and balustrade in Chinese construction is made from these sections, which is an industry of tens of millions of tonnes. What this part fixes is what the rest depend on: the alloy and temper, the dimensional and form tolerances that decide whether a frame assembles squarely, the mechanical properties, and the surface condition the coating will have to adhere to. The part applies to hot extruded aluminium alloy profiles for architectural use in doors, windows, curtain walls and guardrails, and may be referenced for hot extruded tubes of the same purpose.

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 5237 specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and standards for substrates for aluminum alloy building profiles. Contents of packaging, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates and order forms (or contracts). This part is applicable to aluminum alloy hot extruded profiles (hereinafter referred to as substrates) for construction, such as doors, windows, curtain walls and guardrails. Hot extrusion pipes of the same purpose can also be referred to in this section.

Grade and super high precision, as shown in Table 3, Table 4, and Table 5. Non-wall thickness dimensions allow for deviations to be selected according to actual assembly or lap requirements, and in the pattern Indicated in the middle. The non-wall thickness dimensions of the drawings are not indicated in the drawings and can be directly measured. The allowable deviations are performed at the normal level, but there are assembly closures. The non-wall thickness tolerance of the 6060T5, 6063T5, 6063AT5, 6463T5, and 6463AT5 substrates shall be selected from the high precision level in Table 4. When high-precision or ultra-high-precision deviation requirements are required, it shall be agreed between the supplier and the buyer and specified in the drawings and the order form (or contract).
