GB/T 32223-2025Building hardware for windows and doors — General requirements (English PDF)

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting is required.

This document replaces GB/T 32223-2015 "General requirements for building door and window hardware". Compared with GB/T 32223-2015, In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

--Changed the operating parts, bearing parts, transmission locking parts, transmission mechanism handles, spinning handles, double-sided handles, pulleys, transmission Definitions of closures, multi-point closures and stays (see 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.2.1, 3.2.2, 3.2.3, 3.3.5, 3.4.1, 3.4.2 and 3.5.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8, 3.12, 3.13, 3.14 and 3.16 of the 2015 edition);

--Added handles, window openers, door clamps, sliding supports for horizontal sliding windows, hanging wheels, lifting devices, anti-slip devices, anti-fall devices and temperature-controlled window closing devices terms and definitions for use in connection with the provision of services (see 3.2.5, 3.2.6, 3.3.2, 3.3.4, 3.3.6, 3.5.2, 3.5.3, 3.5.4 and 3.5.5);

-- Deleted "Classification of basic configurations of door and window hardware according to common opening forms" (see 4.2 of the 2015 edition);

-- Added "General Principles" (see Chapter 5) and deleted "General Requirements" (see Chapter 5 of the 2015 edition);

-- Changed the material requirements for carbon steel, zinc alloy, aluminum alloy and stainless steel (see 6.1.1, 6.1.2, 6.1.3 and 6.1.4, 2015 edition) 5.2.1.1, 5.2.1.2, 5.2.1.3 and 5.2.1.4 of the Regulations);

--Added material requirements for copper alloy, alloy structural steel, grey cast iron and hydraulic oil (see 6.1.5, 6.1.6, 6.1.7 and 6.1.8);

-- Deleted the requirements for plastics and other materials (see 5.2.1.5 and 5.2.1.6 of the 2015 edition);

--Changed the common materials for single-point locks, pulleys and transmission lock bodies (see 6.2.4, 6.2.12 and 6.2.14, 2015 edition) 5.2.2.4, 5.2.2.7 and 5.2.2.8);

--Added common materials for handles, window openers, glass door hinges, door clamps, sliding window supports and floor spring bodies (see 6.2.5, 6.2.6, 6.2.8, 6.2.9, 6.2.11 and 6.2.13); deleted the common materials for the main body of the underslung tie rod (see 5.2.2.12 of the 2015 edition);

-- Changed the requirements and test methods for film thickness and adhesion, corrosion resistance and weather resistance (see 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 8.2, 8.3 and 8.4, 6.2 and 7.2 of the 2015 edition);

--Added moisture and heat resistance and test methods (see 7.5 and 8.5);

--Changed the requirements for mechanical properties (see 7.6 and 7.7, 6.3 of the 2015 edition);

--Added safety device performance and test methods (see 7.8 and 8.7);

-- Changed “Simulated doors and windows and their test devices” (see Appendix B, Appendix A of the 2015 edition).

General requirements for building door and window hardware

1 Scope

This document specifies the classification and basic configuration, general rules, materials, requirements of building door and window hardware, and describes the corresponding test methods.

This document applies to the manufacture and inspection of commonly used hardware for doors and windows in civil buildings.
