Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces JG/T 268-2010 "Building Door Closer". Compared with JG/T 268-2010, the main technical contents are changed as follows.

--- Increased electric door closers (see 3.3, 6.5, 7.6);

--- Increased door opening buffer (see 3.16, 6.4.7, 7.5.7);

--- Increased test conditions (see Appendix A);

--- Increased hydraulic door closer closing ability test method (see Appendix B);

--- Increased the test method for the closing ability of electric door closers (see Appendix D);

--- Modified the anti-additive test method (see Appendix C, Appendix A in JG/T 268-2010);

--- Revised the scope of this standard not applicable (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of JG/T 268-2010);

--- Modified the closing delay (see 3.14, 6.4.6, 7.5.6, 3.14, 6.5.6, 7.2.5.6 in JG/T 268-2010);

--- Modified code, classification and marking (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of JG/T 268-2010);

--- Revised the closing ability (see 6.4.4, 6.5.4 in JG/T 268-2010);

--- Modified the test method (see Chapter 7, Chapter 7 of JG/T 268-2010).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, codes, classifications and markings, general requirements,, test methods, inspection rules for building door closers.

And marking, packaging, transportation and storage.

This standard is applicable to door closers for building swing doors, and is not applicable to door closers for fire doors.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Door closer Installed on the upper part of the door to automatically close the door leaf and adjust the speed of the device.

Hydraulic door closer A door closer driven by a hydraulic device.

Electric door closer A motorized door closer.
