This part is the first part of GB/T 4798.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part replaces GB/T 4798.1-2005 "Electrical and Electronic Products Application Environmental Conditions Part 1. Storage". This part and

Compared with GB/T 4798.1-2005, the main technical changes are as follows.

--- The standard name was changed to "Environmental Condition Classification Environmental Parameter Group Classification and Its Severity Classification Part 1. Storage";

--- Added Chapter 3 "Terms and Definitions", and the subsequent chapter number changes accordingly;

--- Added a description of "impacts on short-term extreme environmental conditions" and "long-term effects on non-extreme environmental stresses" (see Chapter 4);

--- "Climatic environmental conditions" "Mechanical active material conditions" "Mechanical environmental conditions", replacing the old classification with a new classification (see 5.2,

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 4798 applies to the environmental parameters of the stored product and the grading of its severity. The product can be stored with

package.

The environmental conditions referred to in this section are limited to conditions that directly affect the product and its basic properties. These conditions are not specifically described in this section.

The impact of the product.

This section does not cover the direct impact of fire or explosion on the product.

Fixed use, carrying and non-fixed use, transport conditions for vehicles and ships are described in other sections of IEC 60721-3.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions as defined by IEC 60721-1 apply to this document.

All faces are covered, in such a way as to provide a degree of protection to the location or structure.

Non-weather-protected location

A place that cannot directly prevent the weather from being affected.

Open space open-airlocation

An open place that cannot prevent the influence of meteorological conditions.

The product is not placed in a certain place.
