First edition, under the China Machinery Industry Federation. In force from 1 April 2025. Issued on 29 September 2024, it has been in force since 1 April 2025.

1 Scope

This document specifies the types and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, Packaging, transportation and storage.

This document applies to direct evaporative air conditioning units used in applications with high requirements for air conditioning and disinfection.

Similar units used in the scene are used for reference.

This document is not applicable to air conditioning units that do not have their own cooling source.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in JB/T 7249 and the following apply to this document.

3.1 Germs and viruses

A general term for pathogenic bacteria and viruses among pathogenic microorganisms.

Note. In this document, it refers to pathogenic bacteria and viruses that can be transmitted through the air, invade the human body, and cause infection or even infectious diseases.

3.2 Stand-alone air conditioning unit

Use physical and chemical methods to kill microorganisms in indoor air, and can also achieve air conditioning and disinfection.

3.3 Fine particulate matter

PM0.3 Particles in ambient air with an aerodynamic equivalent diameter greater than or equal to 0.3 µm.
