1 Scope

GB/T 47420-2026 is the Chinese national standard covering how a pallet is assessed as a green product - the material and its source, the durability and the number of trips it will make, the repairability and the fate at end of life, for wood, plastic and composite pallets alike. A pallet's footprint is almost entirely a question of how many times it is used. First edition, in force since 1 July 2026, under the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. It was issued on 31 March 2026 and has been in force since 1 July 2026, as a first edition. The document is under the responsibility of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. This document specifies the evaluation requirements and methods for green pallet products. This document applies to flat pallets primarily made of wood, plastic, steel, paper-based, or composite materials, as well as those made of wood, plastic, and steel. Evaluation of green products. pallets with upper components manufactured primarily from high-quality materials.
