GB 15346-2012 is the English-translated version of 化学试剂包装及标志.

GB 15346 governs how chemical reagents are packed and labelled in China: the container types and materials for each class of reagent, the closure and sealing, the net quantities, and the marking - the name and formula, the grade, the batch, the quantity, the hazard information and the storage conditions that must appear on the label. It also covers packaging acceptance, storage and transport. It excludes MOS-grade, clinical, high-purity and fine chemical products, which have their own rules. Issued on 31 December 2012, in force since 1 October 2013, replacing GB 15346-1994. Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules. The standard Chapter 5, Chapter 6, Chapter 7, Chapter 8, Chapter 9, Chapter 10 is mandatory, the rest are recommended. This standard replaces GB 15346-1994 "chemical reagent packaging and signs", compared with GB 15346-1994 main changes are as follows:

1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for chemical reagent packaging and signs, packaging, inspection, storage and transportation. This standard does not apply to MOS reagents, clinical reagents, high purity reagents and fine chemical products, such as packaging.

3 Terms and symbols

4 Packing
