Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 669-1994 "Chemical Reagent Strontium Nitrate". Compared with GB/T 669-1994, except for structural adjustment and editing In addition to sexual changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

— Added technical requirements and measurement methods for pH value (see Chapter 5, 6.3);

— The technical requirements for the clarity test have been changed, from "qualified" to "<=No. 2" and "<=No. 4" (see Chapter 5, 1994 edition 3.2);

— The technical requirements for sodium have been changed, and the technical requirements for analytical purity have been adjusted from "<=0.03%" to "<=0.02%" (see Chapter 5, 1994 edition 3.2);

— The technical requirements for potassium have been changed. The technical requirements for analytical purity have been adjusted from "<=0.02%" to "<=0.01%", and the technical requirements for chemical purity have been adjusted from "<=0.02%" to "<=0.01%".

"<=0.05%" is adjusted to "<=0.02%" (see Chapter 5, 3.2 of the 1994 edition);

— The technical requirements for calcium have been changed. The technical requirements for analytical purity have been adjusted from "<=0.03%" to "<=0.01%", and the technical requirements for chemical purity have been adjusted from "<=0.03%" to "<=0.01%".

"<=0.05%" is adjusted to "<=0.02%" (see Chapter 5, 3.2 of the 1994 edition);

— The determination method of strontium nitrate has been changed (see 6.2, 4.1 of the 1994 edition);

— Added the determination method of barium by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (see 6.14);

— Added the sodium sulfide-glycerol colorimetric method for determination of heavy metals (see 6.15);

— Changed the inspection rules (see Chapter 7, Chapter 5 of the 1994 edition);

— Changed the packaging and logo (see Chapter 8, Chapter 6 of the 1994 edition);

— Deleted the technical requirements and determination methods of free acid (see 3.2 and 4.2.4 of the 1994 edition).

1 Scope

This document specifies the properties, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and marking of the chemical reagent strontium nitrate.

This document applies to the inspection of the chemical reagent strontium nitrate.

Note. The molecular formula of the chemical reagent strontium nitrate is Sr(NO3)2, the relative molecular mass is 211.63 (according to the 2022 international relative atomic mass), and the CAS number is 10042-76-9.
