GB/T 623-2024 is the English-translated version of 化学试剂 高氯酸.
GB/T 623-2024 is the Chinese national standard covering the bottled perchloric acid used as an analytical reagent — the properties of a colourless liquid that can explode on contact with organic matter or metal powder, the technical requirements, the test methods, among them the revised determination of manganese, iron, copper, silver and lead, the inspection rules, and the packaging and marking that have to carry that hazard to whoever opens the crate. It replaces GB/T 623-2011, under the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. In force from 1 April 2025. Issued on 29 September 2024, it has been in force since 1 April 2025, replacing GB/T 623-2011.

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting is required.
This document replaces GB/T 623-2011 "Chemical reagent perchloric acid". Compared with GB/T 623-2011, except for the structural adjustment and compilation In addition to logical changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
The determination methods of manganese, iron, copper, silver and lead have been changed (see 6.14, 5.14, 5.15, 5.16, 5.17, 5.18);
The packaging and labeling have been changed (see Chapter 8, Chapter 7 of the 2011 edition). - Please note that some of the contents of this document may involve patents. The issuing organization of this document does not assume the responsibility for identifying patents.
This document was proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.

1 Scope
This document specifies the properties, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and marking of the chemical reagent perchloric acid.
This document applies to the inspection of the chemical reagent perchloric acid.
Note. The molecular formula of chemical reagent perchloric acid is HClO4, the relative molecular mass is 100.45 (according to the 2022 International Relative Atomic Mass), and the CAS number is 7601﹘90﹘3.
