QC/T 692-2011 is the English-translated version of 汽油/天然气两用燃料发动机技术条件.
QC/T 692-2011 is the Chinese automotive industry standard for gasoline/natural gas bi-fuel engines. It specifies their technical requirements and the test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage that apply to them.
The engines within its scope are vehicle gasoline/CNG dual-fuel engines whose compressed natural gas cylinders have a nominal working pressure no higher than 20 MPa.
Superseding QC/T 692-2002, it draws on a wide set of documents, among them GB 1495, GB 14762, GB 17691, GB 18047, GB 18352.3, GB 20890, HJ 437-2008 and HJ 438-2008. Issued on 18 May 2011, it has applied since 1 August 2011.
