It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7601.7-1994.

It is one of 21 parts of the JB/T 7601 series.

2 Scope

Heat treatment is the matter of JB/T 7601.7-2008, a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard and Part 7 of the basic technical requirements for wire and cable equipment. The text sets the basic technical requirements for the heat treatment of this equipment, the test methods for it and the inspection rules. It applies to the general requirements for the heat treatment of wire and cable equipment parts. Its quoted standards include the parts of GB/T 230 and GB/T 231, GB/T 1299, GB/T 9450, GB/T 12603 and JB/T 9204. Issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in place of JB/T 7601.7-1994, it is classified K13 and 29.060.01.
