Foreword

This document was drafted in accordance with the rules provided in GB/T 1.1-2020 Directives for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents.

This Standard replaces GB/T 8878-2014 Knitted cotton underwear; compared with GB/T 8878-2014, the main technical changes, except editorial changes, are as follows:

1 Scope

This document stipulates the size, requirements, testing, sampling rules, judgment rules, product instructions, packaging, transportation and storage of knitted underwear.

This document applies to knitted underwear mainly made of knitted fabrics.

This document does not apply to clothing for infants and young children aged 36 months and below.

3 Terms and definitions

No terms and definitions need to be defined in this document.

4 Size

The size of knitted underwear shall be in accordance with the regulations of GB/T 6411 or GB/T 1335 (all parts). The off-limits may be increased or decreased in sequence according to the skipping principle stipulated in the standard.

7 Sampling rules

7.1 For appearance quality, randomly take 1% ~ 3% of the samples per batch, which shall not be less than 20 pieces.

7.2 For the inherent quality, randomly take 4 samples per batch, and increase of number in case of insufficiency. The samples taken shall not have defects that affect the test.
