Scope
GB/T 38015-2019 is the English-translated version of 纺织品 定量化学分析 氨纶与某些其他纤维的混合物.
GB/T 38015-2019 sets out the chemical analysis method for determining the fibre content of mixtures of elastane, which the Chinese text calls spandex or polyurethane elastomer, with certain other fibres.
Clause 1 applies it to two-component mixtures of elastane with cellulose fibres, namely cotton, hemp, viscose, cuprammonium, modal and lyocell, with animal fibres such as silk, wool and other special animal fibres, and with polyamide, polyvinyl alcohol, polyester, polypropylene, polyacrylonitrile, acetate and triacetate fibres.
Clause 3 lists the apparatus: a 250 mL glass-stoppered Erlenmeyer flask, a constant temperature water bath adjustable from 10 to 80 degrees Celsius within plus or minus 2 degrees, a water bath oscillator and a horizontal oscillator both adjustable from 50 to 100 oscillations per minute, and a 150 mesh stainless steel filter of 0.1 mm aperture, 10 cm diameter and 6 cm height or an equivalent.
Clause 4 refers the reagents, specimen preparation and test procedure to GB/T 2910.1 together with this standard, allows pretreatment to be skipped where the sample is judged untreated and the result unaffected, lets samples whose dissolution residue is elastane be left uncut and filtered on a suitable screen instead of a glass crucible, and takes the nominal moisture regain of the fibres from GB/T 9994.
Clause 5, the first of the method clauses, covers mixtures of elastane with cellulose or acetate fibres by the 20% hydrochloric acid method, in which the cellulose or acetate component is dissolved out of a specimen of known dry mass under specified conditions.
The standard was proposed by the China National Textile and Apparel Council and is under the jurisdiction of the National Textile Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC209), its drafting bodies being textile inspection and certification organisations, a fibre inspection bureau, a quality supervision and testing centre and a weaving manufacturer.
It carries ICS code 59.080.01 and Chinese classification W04, was issued on 30 August 2019 and has applied since 1 March 2020.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the chemical analysis method for determining the fiber content of a mixture of spandex (polyurethane elastomer) and certain other fibers.
This standard applies to spandex and cellulose fibers (cotton, hemp, viscose, cuprammonium, modal, lyocell), animal fiber (silk, wool, other special animal fibers), polyamide fiber, polyvinyl alcohol fiber, polyester fiber, polypropylene fiber, polyacrylonitrile fiber, vinegar A two component mixture of ester fibers or triacetate fibers.

3 Instruments
3.1 Use GB/T 2910.1 and the instruments specified in this standard.
3.2 Erlenmeyer flask. 250 mL with glass stopper.
3.3 Constant temperature water bath. adjustable from 10 °C to 80 °C with an accuracy of ±2 °C.
3.4 Water bath oscillator. The oscillation frequency is adjustable from 50 times/min to 100 times/min. The temperature is adjustable from 10°C to 80°C with an accuracy of ±2°C.
3.5 Horizontal oscillator. The oscillation frequency is adjustable from 50 times/min to 100 times/min.
3.6 Filter. 150 mesh (0.1 mm aperture), stainless steel filter with a diameter of 10 cm and a height of 6 cm or other filters of equal effect.
4 General rules of testing
4.1 Test reagents, sample preparation and test procedures are carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 2910.1 and this standard.
4.2 If it can be judged that the sample has not been pretreated and does not affect the test results, no sample pretreatment is required.
4.3 For samples where the residue after dissolution is spandex, the sample may not be cut.
4.4 For samples where the residue after dissolution is spandex, a suitable filter screen may be used instead of the glass core.
4.5 The nominal moisture regain of fiber is carried out according to GB/T 9994.
5 Mixture of spandex and cellulose fiber (cotton, hemp, viscose, cuprammonium, modal, lyocell) or acetate fiber (20% hydrochloric acid method)
5.1 Principle
Dissolving the cellulose fibers or acetate fibers from a mixture of known dry mass with a 20% hydrochloric acid solution under specified conditions,
