Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part

1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting is required. This document replaces GB/T 16605-2008 "Regenerated cellulose silk fabrics". Compared with GB/T 16605-2008, except for structural adjustments and In addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) The definition of the term "regenerated cellulose silk fabric" has been changed (see

3.1 of the.2008 edition);

b) The grade system has been changed and "third grade" has been deleted (see 4.2,

4.3 of the.2008 edition);

c) The assessment requirements for density deviation rate and mass deviation rate have been changed (see 4.3,

4.5 of the.2008 edition);

d) The assessment requirements for breaking strength, degree of slippage and dimensional change rate after washing have been changed (see 4.3,

4.5 of the.2008 edition);

e) Added the assessments of "tear strength", "dry cleaning dimensional change rate", "dry cleaning color fastness", "saliva color fastness" and "hot pressing color fastness" Project (see 4.3);

f) The standard depth requirements for dark color determination have been changed (see 4.3,

4.5 of the.2008 edition);

g) The scoring limits for appearance defects of second-class products have been changed (see 4.4.1,

1 Scope

GB/T 16605-2024 is the Chinese national standard on regenerated cellulose filament fabrics, in the field of textile and leather technology. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 28 November 2024 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and takes effect on 1 December 2026.
