Foreword

This document is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2020, Directives for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents.

This document replaces GB/T 16605-2008, Regenerated cellulose filament fabrics. Compared with GB/T 16605-2008, apart from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) the definition of the term "regenerated cellulose filament fabrics" has been changed (see 3.1; 3.1 of the 2008 edition);

b) the grading system has been changed and "third grade" has been deleted (see 4.2; 4.3 of the 2008 edition);

c) the assessment requirements for density deviation and mass deviation have been changed (see 4.3; 4.5 of the 2008 edition);

d) the assessment requirements for breaking strength, seam slippage and dimensional change after washing have been changed (see 4.3; 4.5 of the 2008 edition);

e) the assessment items "tear strength", "dimensional change after dry cleaning", "colour fastness to dry cleaning", "colour fastness to saliva" and "colour fastness to hot pressing" have been added (see 4.3);

f) the standard depth requirement for determining dark shades has been changed (see 4.3; 4.5 of the 2008 edition);

g) the appearance defect score limit for second-grade products has been changed (see 4.4.1; 4.6.1 of the 2008 edition).
