1 Scope

This standard specifies the classification and naming, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for marine rotating electrical machines (hereinafter referred to as marine motors).

Packaging, transportation and storage, spare parts, warranty period.

This standard applies to the design of various types of marine (including mobile and fixed offshore) motors (excluding micro-controlled motors).

Manufacturing and acceptance.
