Scope
GB/T 23507.1-2017 is the English-translated version of 石油钻机用电气设备规范 第1部分:主电动机.
GB/T 23507.1-2017 is Part 1 of the Chinese national series on electrical equipment for oil drilling rigs and covers the main motors of electrically driven rigs.
It applies to the AC and DC motors, including low-voltage motors fed by the grid, that drive the drawworks, drilling pumps, rotary table and top drive, for their design, manufacture, testing and use.
It specifies model designation, types and basic parameters, operating conditions, temperature rise limits, short-time torque, commutation, insulation and starting performance, overspeed, commutator runout, noise, vibration, shaft voltage, speed sensor and encoder tests and salt spray resistance.
It also sets the test methods, inspection rules, factory documents, and marking, packaging, transport and storage. It was issued on 29 December 2017 and has applied since 1 July 2018.
