JB/T 4271-2011 is the English-translated version of 船用三相同步发电机技术条件.

JB/T 4271-2011 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard giving the specification for three-phase synchronous generators used in ships. It sets the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions on marking and packaging for such generators and for their excitation equipment, at rated powers of 3125 kVA and below, at 50 Hz and 60 Hz. It applies to generators driven by internal combustion engines in the power stations of ships and of mobile and fixed offshore units, and it may be taken as a reference for turbine-driven generators, shaft generators and generators rated above 3125 kVA. It replaces JB/T 4271-1999, JB/T 4123-1999 and JB/T 4401.2-1999.
