Foreword

GB/T 5013 "rated voltage 450/750V and below rubber insulated cable" is divided into eight sections.

--- Part 1. General requirements;

--- Part 2. Test methods;

--- Part 3. Heat resistant silicone rubber insulated cables;

--- Part 4. Cords and flexible cables;

--- Part 5. Lift cables;

--- Part 6. Arc welding cables;

--- Part 7. Heat resistant ethylene - vinyl acetate rubber insulated cables;

--- Part 8. Cords.

This section GB/T 5013 Part 2. This section identical with IEC 60245-2:1998 "rated voltage 450/750V and with Under Rubber insulated cables - Part 2. Test methods "(in English).

For ease of use, GB/T 5013 made this part of the following editorial changes.

--- Delete international standards foreword.

This part of the IEC in its original title of Chapter 4 editorial errors have been corrected to "IE4 type insulating rubber mixture in an air oven Air missile and mechanical tests "after aging.

This section from the implementation date instead of GB 5013.2-1997.

This section of the main changes compared to GB 5013.2-1997 are as follows.

--- 3.1 "Flexing Test" rearrange the content, and the weight of the hammer, pulley diameter and the applied current parameters made amendments and supplements;

--- Increase of 3.5 "three Flexing Test" and 3.6 "twist test";

--- Chapter 4, respectively, with "IE4", "air" and "8.2" replace the original "IE1", "oxygen" and "8.3." this part is proposed by the China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association.

This part of the unit responsible for drafting. Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute.

1 Overview

1.1 Scope

This section GB/T 5013 gives the test all parts of GB/T 5013 provisions and not included in GB/T 2951 in method.

1.2 Normative references

1.3 Test by frequency classification

According to GB/T 5013.1-2008 defined in 2.2, the test is defined as type tests (symbol T) and/or sampling tests (symbol S).

Symbol T and S for use in product standards (GB/T 5013.3, GB/T 5013.4, etc.) related to the table.

1.4 Sampling

If the insulation or sheath using embossed Braille signs, sampling should include this flag.

Unless otherwise specified, for multi-core cables, in addition to the tests specified in 1.9, it should take no more than three core samples (if separations take any different Color) were tested.

1.5 Pretreatment

In order to carry out all the tests should be kept at least 16h after curing insulation or jacket.

1.6 Test temperature

Unless otherwise specified, the tests should be carried out at ambient temperature.
