GB/T 40774-2021 is the English-translated version of 生态设计产品评价技术规范 办公设备系列产品.
GB/T 40774-2021 is the Chinese technical specification for assessing office equipment as eco-design products. It covers the evaluation method, basis and evaluation unit, the evaluation requirements and the evaluation report.
It applies to office imaging hard copy devices such as electrostatic, inkjet and stencil imaging equipment and thermal and dot matrix printers, to office and conference imaging equipment such as scanners and projectors, and to document finishing machines such as binders, sorters, folders and punches.
Annexes set out evaluation units, the calculation of comprehensive energy consumption per unit output and emission limits for electrostatic imaging products in use, with examples of reports, life cycle data collection and carbon emission calculation.
Manufacturers and assessment bodies use it. It was issued on 11 October 2021 and has applied since 1 May 2022.

1 Scope
This document specifies the evaluation method, basis and evaluation unit, evaluation requirements and eco-design products of the office equipment series of eco-design products Evaluation report.
This document is applicable to the ecological design evaluation of the following office equipment series products.
---Office imaging hard copy output equipment, including A4, A3 (including A3) format electrostatic imaging equipment, inkjet imaging equipment, templates Imaging equipment, thermal imaging printers, dot matrix printers, etc.;
--- Office and conference imaging equipment, including scanners, projection display equipment, camera and video equipment, photography and projection equipment, etc.;
