Scope

GB/T 33014.2-2016 is the English-translated version of 道路车辆 电气电子部件对窄带辐射电磁能的抗扰性试验方法 第2部分:电波暗室法.

GB/T 33014.2-2016 is the component-level immunity test run inside an absorber-lined shielded enclosure, the chamber that behaves like an open field.

It covers continuous narrowband disturbance from 80 MHz to 18 GHz and sets the test conditions and severity levels, the test location, the apparatus, the way the device under test is operated by actuators that disturb the field as little as possible, such as plastic blocks on push-buttons or pneumatic actuators, the monitoring over fibre optics or high-resistance leads, the set-up on a non-conductive low-permittivity support, and the test method itself.

Terms come from GB/T 33014.1-2016, and the annexes add the artificial network, remote and local grounding and the function performance status classification. Modified from ISO 11452-2:2004, it was issued on 13 October 2016 and has applied since 1 November 2017.

Foreword

GB/T 33014 "Road vehicles - Component test methods for electrical/electronic disturbances from narrowband radiated electromagnetic energy" consists of the following parts.

- Part 1: General;

- Part 2: Absorber-lined shielded enclosure;

- Part 3: Transverse electromagnetic (TEM) cell;

- Part 4: Bulk current injection (BCI);

- Part 5: Stripeline;

- Part 7: Direct radio frequency (RF) power injection;

- Part 8: Magnetic field immunity;

- Part 9: Portable transmitter simulation;

- Part 10: Conduction immunity method for extended audio range;

- Part 11: Reverberation chamber.

This Part is Part 2 of GB/T33014.

This Part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This Part uses the re-drafting method to modify and adopt ISO 11452-2:2004 "Road vehicles - Component test methods for electrical disturbances from narrowband radiated electromagnetic energy - Part 2: Absorber-lined shielded enclosure".

The technical differences between this Part and ISO 11452-2:2004 are as follows.

- PREPARE Clause 1 according to the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2009;

- MOVE the content ("the following standard test conditions...") in the original international standard not suitable for Clause 1 TO Clause 4 "Test conditions".

- REPLACE the reference standard ISO 11452-1 WITH GB/T 33014.1-2016 modifying and adopting ISO 11452-1:2005.

- For consistency in understanding and presentation with Part 1, I, II, III, IV, V of Table C.1 are changed to L1, L2, etc., and I, II, III, etc. are understood as state I, II, III, etc. The following editorial changes have been made in this Part.

- DELETE the foreword and introduction of the original international standard.

- For consistency with other standards, a note "See GB/T 33014.1-2016 for a detailed explanation of FPSC." is added in Annex C.

1 Scope

This Part of GB/T 33014 specifies the immunity test for electrical/electronic components (ESA) to continuous electrical disturbances from narrowband radiated electromagnetic energy - absorber-lined shielded enclosure.

2 Normative references

The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including all amendments) applies.

3 Terms and definitions

For the purpose of this document, the terms and definitions defined in GB/T 33014.1-2016 apply.

4 Test conditions

The applicable frequency range of the absorber-lined shielded enclosure test method is 80 MHz to 18 GHz. The user shall specify the test severity level(s) over the frequency range. Suggested test levels are shown in Annex C.

5 Test location

The tests shall be performed in an absorber-lined shielded enclosure (simulated open field).

6 Test apparatus and instrumentation

The DUT shall be operated as required in the test plan by actuators that have a minimum effect on the electromagnetic characteristics, e.g. plastic blocks on the push-buttons, pneumatic actuators (with plastic tubes for air supply piping).

Connections to equipment monitoring electromagnetic interference reactions of the DUT may be accomplished by using fibre-optics, or high-resistance leads. Other types of lead may be used but require extreme care to minimize interactions. The orientation, length and location of such leads shall be carefully documented to ensure repeatability of test results.

7 Test set-up

The DUT shall be placed on a non-conductive, low relative permittivity (dielectric-constant) material (epsilon r <= 1.4), at (50 ± 5) mm above the ground plane. The case of the DUT shall not be grounded to the ground plane unless it is intended to simulate the actual vehicle configuration. The face of the DUT shall be located at a distance of (200 ± 10) mm from the edge of the ground plane.

8 Test method

The DUT shall be made to operate under typical loading and other conditions as in the vehicle. These operating conditions shall be clearly defined in the test plan to ensure supplier and customer are performing identical tests.

The test shall be performed with the substitution method, which is based upon the use of forward power as the reference parameter used for field calibration and test. This method is carried out in two phases. […]
