Scope

QC/T 1109-2019 is the English-translated version of 汽车前照明用调光电机.

QC/T 1109-2019 covers the front-lighting leveling actuator, the electromechanical device that adjusts the height of an automobile headlamp beam, and applies to such actuators for all types of automobiles.

It gives requirements, test methods, inspection rules and provisions for signs, packaging and storage. Actuators are classified by mounting position as built-in or external and by drive mode as DC or stepper.

Clause 4 ties the product to approved drawings, sets its temperature range in Table 1, and calls for low and high temperature storage and working resistance, low and high temperature durability, cyclic high-low temperature durability, stall resistance with no smoking or burning, vibration resistance, combined temperature and humidity cycling, temperature shock and reverse voltage resistance.

External actuators must reach protection degree IP6K8 to Tables 2 and 4 of GB/T 30038-2013 and survive 500 h of salt spray, after which the corrosion rate of the sprayed surface must not exceed 20% and rust or blisters are allowed only within 2 mm of an edge.

A-weighted running noise must not exceed 65 dB(A), measured 30 cm behind the specimen under a 10 N load.

Clause 5 fixes the test voltage UA at 14 V plus or minus 0.2 V for 12 V products and 28 V plus or minus 0.2 V for 24 V products, atmospheric pressure of 86 kPa to 106 kPa, and 100 temperature shock cycles between -40 degrees C and 85 degrees C for external or 105 degrees C for built-in units.
