Scope

GB/T 26610.4-2022 is the English-translated version of 承压设备系统基于风险的检验实施导则 第4部分:失效可能性定量分析方法.

GB/T 26610.4-2022 is the Chinese national method for putting a number on the likelihood that an item of pressure equipment will fail during a risk-based inspection programme.

As Part 4 of GB/T 26610, it applies to the pressure equipment systems of refining and chemical plants covered by GB/T 26610.1, and builds the failure likelihood from the average failure probability of similar equipment, a management system evaluation coefficient, an equipment modification factor and an influence factor for defects beyond the acceptance limit.

Twelve normative annexes carry the working tables and the sub-factors for thinning, stress corrosion cracking, high-temperature hydrogen attack, furnace tube damage, mechanical fatigue, lining failure, external damage and brittle fracture, plus separate treatments for safety relief devices and heat exchanger tube bundles.

It replaces GB/T 26610.4-2014, was issued on 11 July 2022 and has applied since 1 February 2023.

Introduction

GB/T 26610 "Implementation Guidelines for Risk-Based Inspection of Pressure Equipment Systems" aims to standardize the identification of damage modes and failures of pressure equipment systems The various tasks of possibility analysis, failure consequence analysis, and inspection strategy formulation are scientific and reasonable for risk assessment workers to carry out risk-based Inspection work provides guidance, GB/T 26610 consists of 5 parts.

--- Part 1: Basic requirements and implementation procedures. Provide relevant terms and definitions for risk-based inspection of pressure equipment systems, standardize wind Risk assessment workflow, proposed data collection, damage pattern recognition, failure probability and failure consequence calculation, risk management, risk management General requirements for mitigation measures, reassessments, etc.

--- Part 2: Risk-based inspection strategies. Specify the inspection time, inspection type, inspection method and inspection under typical damage categories Effectiveness and other requirements and contents, and guide risk assessors to scientifically formulate inspection strategies.

--- Part 3: Qualitative analysis methods of risk. Guide risk assessors to carry out qualitative risk analysis of pressure equipment systems.

--- Part 4: Quantitative analysis methods for failure probability. Standardize the failure probability quantitative analysis program to determine the average failure probability, design Equipment correction coefficient, management system evaluation coefficient, and over-standard defect influence coefficient to guide the quantification of the failure probability of pressure equipment systems calculate.

--- Part 5: Quantitative analysis methods for failure consequences. The general principles of quantitative analysis of failure consequences are given, and the selection of representative fluids is determined. Extraction, leakage analysis, area consequence calculation, cost consequence calculation, and guide the quantitative calculation of failure consequence of pressure equipment system.

This document, as part 4 of GB/T 26610, focuses on the identification methods of common damage modes of pressure equipment and the pressure equipment A method for determining the failure probability level. For the key pressure-bearing equipment qualitatively screened in GB/T 26610.3, the analysis is further refined, and the use of The failure probability level determined by the quantitative analysis of this document and the failure consequence level determined by the quantitative analysis of GB/T 26610.5 jointly determine the bearing capacity. the risk level of the pressurized equipment. At the same time, the damage mode identified in this document is also the inspection strategy formulated in GB/T 26610.2 or GB/T 26610.1 An important basis for formulating risk reduction measures.

This document is mainly for the determination of the probability of failure during the implementation of risk-based inspection (RBI) of pressure equipment systems in oil refining, chemical and other industries.

Quantitative analysis provides the basis and guidance. According to the various parts of GB/T 26610, the domestic inspection agencies have already conducted inspections in large-scale petroleum, Sinopec, etc.

RBI has been applied to thousands of devices in the chemical enterprise, which ensures the intrinsic safety of the devices, optimizes the inspection strategy, and saves more than 30% for the enterprise It has achieved good economic and social benefits.

During the implementation of GB/T 26610.4-2014, it was found that the risk calculation results were too conservative, and the average failure probability of similar equipment The impact on the risk is too large, and some common corrosion mechanisms are missing. In response to these problems, the foreign literature APIRP581-2016 "Based on Wind "Inspection Methods for Risks" has been revised, and my country has also carried out related research work on the basis of the 13th Five-Year Key R&D Program. therefore, It is necessary to combine the existing scientific research results, APIRP581-2016, the experience summary during the implementation of the standard, etc.

It is revised and improved to better guide the implementation of risk-based inspection (RBI) of pressure equipment systems.
