GB 18306-2015 is the English-translated version of 中国地震动参数区划图.

GB 18306-2015 is the Chinese national standard on seismic ground motion parameter zonation map of china, in the field of construction materials and building. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 15 May 2015 by the China Earthquake Administration, and has been in force since 1 June 2016. Classification: ICS 91.120.25, CCS P15. This page is published from the official record of the standard held by the Chinese standards administration: the identification, the dates, the classification and the issuing body are taken from there. The clause text, the tables and the numeric limits are in the document itself, which is delivered complete in English translation.

--- GB 18306-2001.

Since the implementation of GB 18306-2001, the general construction of earthquake-proof, all kinds of construction project planning and site selection, socio-economic Land use planning and the development has played an important role in the preparation, and achieved good social and economic benefits. Amendment GB 18306-2001 main reasons.

a) national seismic safety put forward higher requirements, social security for earthquake raised new demands;

1 Scope

The clause text, the tables and the numeric limits are in the document itself, which is delivered complete in English translation.

This standard gives the Chinese ground motion parameter zoning map the technical elements, the basic provisions and ground motion parameters to determine the method. This standard applies to general earthquake-proof construction, as well as socio-economic development planning and land use planning, disaster prevention and mitigation planning, Planning and other related environmental protection and management plan.
