1 Scope

GB 45320-2025 is the Chinese national standard on safety and general technical specifications for construction waterproof sheets, in the field of construction materials and building. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 28 March 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 October 2025. 3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 18378-2008 and GB/T 41078-2021 and the following apply to this document.

3.1 waterproofing membranewaterproofsheet A flexible waterproof material that is factory-formed and can be rolled into a roll.

3.2 Factory-formed sheets made of asphalt or polymer-modified asphalt as the main material and using fibers, fabrics or polymer films as reinforcement materials Waterproof material. [Source: GB/T 41078-2021, 3.1, modified]

3.3 It is made of synthetic rubber, synthetic resin or a mixture of the two, with plasticizers, stabilizers, vulcanizers, fillers and other additives added, and then calendered or extruded.
