Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 17253-2008 "synthetic fiber silk fabric". Major technical changes compared to GB/T 17253-2008 as follows:

--- Revised the definition of "synthetic silk fabric" (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the.2008 edition);

---Adjusted the grade regulations and deleted the "third-class products" (see

4.3 of the.2008 edition);

--- Revised the provisions for the tolerance of fiber content (see 4.5,

4.5 of the.2008 edition);

--- Adjusted the fixed load requirements of the cracking degree assessment project (see 4.5, see

4.5 of the.2008 edition);

--- Increased stain resistance assessment requirements for dry cleaning (see 4.5);

--- Added "Salty fastness to saliva" assessment project (see 4.5);

--- Increased the "dragging coefficient" evaluation index for simulated silk products (see 4.5);

---Adjusted the judgment basis of the color depth, the dark color was changed to be larger than the 1/12 dye dyeing standard depth card in GB/T 4841.3, High quality requirements for wet rubbing fastness (see 4.5,

--- Revised the appearance of the point and the equal score calculation (see 4.6.4,

4.6.4 of the.2008 version);

1 Scope

GB/T 17253-2018 is the Chinese national standard on synthetic filament fabrics, in the field of textile and leather technology. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 28 December 2018 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 July 2019. This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and marking of synthetic fiber silk fabrics. This standard is applicable to all kinds of white, dyed, printed, yarn-dyed woven fabrics that are purely woven or interwoven with synthetic fiber filaments as the main raw material.
