1 Scope

GB 44498-2024 is the Chinese national standard on household and similar electrical appliances - health technical specification, in the field of environment and health protection, safety. 3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 18801, GB/T 21551 (all parts) and the following apply to this document.

3.1 Single-phase AC powered appliances used by non-professionals in homes, residences and similar places (such as shops, light industry and farms, etc.) Electrical appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 250V and other appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 480V.

3.2 It is determined by four interrelated vectors, namely electric field intensity, electric flux density, magnetic field intensity, and magnetic induction intensity, and is related to current density and volume charge density.
