GB/T 21551 "Antibacterial, Sterilization and Purification Functions of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances" is divided into several parts, including general requirements and special requirements. 1 Scope

GB/T 21551.8-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the antibacterial claim on a storage water heater - the organisms tested and the challenge in the tank, the reduction achieved and how it is measured, the durability of the effect over the life of the appliance, and the wording the claim may take. 3 Terms and Definitions
