NB/T 10331-2019 is the Chinese energy industry standard for multi-function commutation switches, the sub-units of commutation-switch type three-phase load unbalance regulators that move single-phase loads between phases A, B and C in low-voltage distribution areas.

It applies to switches rated at 50 Hz, up to 440 V and up to 250 A. The switches are classified by short-circuit breaking capability, suitability for isolation and residual current protection (none, type AC or type A), and the text defines working phase, idle phase and commutation response, switching and power-off times.

Requirements cover main circuit ratings, residual current characteristics, control and auxiliary circuits, communication, construction, performance, function and electromagnetic compatibility, verified by tests including low and high temperature and humidity. Issued on 30 December 2019, it has applied since 1 July 2020.
