3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions established in GB/T 18577.1-2008 and the following apply.
3.1
tyred mining truck for underground mines tyred self-propelled machinery for underground transport and dumping of materials or ores
3.2 raising time
time required for the truck body to be raised to its maximum raising angle under full load
3.3 lowering time
time required for the truck body to be lowered to the position on the frame after unloading the materials
3.4 maximum tractive force
maximum adhesion that occurs between the tyre and the ground when the tyre is slipping under rated load
3.5 maximum travel speeds
maximum speed that can be reached by the truck when being driven forward and backward on a hard horizontal road under no load
3.6 maximum gradeability
ability of the truck to overcome the maximum slope on a favorable pavement at its first gear under full load
3.7 volumetric rating
rated volume of the truck body, which is the sum of the struck volume and the top volume
3.8 rated payload
rated load that the truck can carry as stated by the manufacturer
3.9 operating weight
wight of an empty truck with standard configuration, a 75kg driver, fuel tank full of fuel, and lubrication system, hydraulic system and cooling system loaded to the weight as stated by the manufacturer
3.10 loading height
H distance between the ground reference plane (GRP) and the highest point on the loading side in the Z-axis direction under no load
3.11 maximum height
H1 distance between the ground reference plane (GRP) and the highest point of the truck accommodating the driver's cab or driver protection structure (such as the roll-over protection structure) on the Z coordinate
3.12 dump height
H2 distance between the ground reference plane (GRP) and the highest point of tyred mining truck for underground mines in the Z-axis direction when the truck body is fully raised
3.13 ground clearance
H4 distance between the ground reference plane (GRP) and the lowest point of the truck on the Z coordinate
3.14 tread
W distance between the two Y planes passing through the centerline of the tyre width on the Y coordinate
3.15 maximum width
W1 distance between the two Y planes, passing through the farthest points of the truck on both sides of the zero Y plane on the Y coordinate
3.16 maximum length
L distance between the two X planes passing through the farthest points before and after the truck on the X coordinate
3.17 wheel base
L1 distance between the two X planes passing through the centers of front and rear wheels of the truck on the X coordinate when the truck body and all wheels are in the same linear direction
3.18 inner turning radius
R1 distance between the center of rotation and the inner smallest arc of the truck in the Z plane when the truck is driven to turn as smallest as possible
3.19 outer turning radius
R2 distance between the center of rotation and the outer largest arc of the truck in the Z plane when the truck is driven to turn as smallest as possible
3.20 body dump angle (rear dump)
A1 included angle between the baseplate of hopper in the Y plane and the ground reference plane (GRP) when the truck body is fully raised
3.21 articulation angle
A2 angle formed by the front of the truck in the Z plane when the truck is turned from a straight forward position to the left or right maximum position
3.22 angle of approach
A3 included angle between the ground reference plane (GRP) and the plane which passes through the lowest point (which limits the angle size) of any structure in the front of the truck and also is tangential to the front wheel in the Y plane […]
