HG/T 3131-2011 is the English-translated version of 空心桨叶式干燥（冷却）机.

HG/T 3131-2011 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for hollow paddle dryers and the matching coolers. It gives the terms and definitions, the types and codes, the basic parameters, the requirements, the inspection rules and the provisions on marking, packaging and storage.

It covers single-shaft, twin-shaft and multi-shaft hollow paddle dryers used for sticky pastes, for granular and powdered materials and for heat-sensitive or more stable organic and inorganic materials, including work under vacuum, and it extends to the same machines run at atmospheric pressure as hollow paddle coolers.

Design and examination refer to GB 150, GB/T 985.1, GB/T 3797, JB/T 4711, the JB/T 4730 series, NB/T 47003.1 and TSG R0004. It replaces HG/T 3131-1998. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
