Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 7784-2006 "Test Method for Motorized Reciprocating Pumps".

Compared with GB/T 7784-2006 "Motor Reciprocating Pump Test Method", the main technical changes except the editorial modification are as follows.

--- Increased test accuracy rating (see Chapter 1);

--- Further clarified the "test type" and "test site", and added test elements such as "tester", "test outline" and "test equipment" (See 4.1, Chapter 4 of the 2006 edition);

--- Added test device requirements (see 4.3);

--- Expanded the scope of application of "test media" (see 4.4.3);

--- Expanded the scope of application of the performance test speed (see 4.4.4);

--- Revised the systematic error of volumetric and mass method flow measurement (see 5.1, 2006 version 6.1);

--- Fixed the calculation formula for discharge pressure (see 6.2.1, 7.2.1 of 2006 edition);

--- Corrected the calculation formula of suction pressure (see 6.2.2, 7.2.2 of 2006 edition);

--- Fixed the calculation formula for net positive suction head (see 6.8, 7.8 of 2006 edition).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the implementation of the test of the motorized reciprocating pump (hereinafter referred to as "pump"), parameter measurement, data processing, performance curve drawing, test report.

This standard includes two levels of measurement accuracy. Level 1 for higher accuracy tests, Level 2 for general accuracy tests, and two measurements. The accuracy level includes different tolerance coefficient values, allowable fluctuation values, and measurement error limits.

This standard applies to both the pump itself without any piping accessories and to the pump assembly with piping accessories.
