Scope

GB/T 26135-2020 is the English-translated version of 高压清洗机.

China's national standard for high pressure cleaning units. It specifies the classification, the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking, packaging, transport and storage of machines that clean by directing a high pressure water jet at a surface. The machine is a pump, a motor and a nozzle, and its output is a jet whose cleaning power is the product of pressure and flow - but those two are traded against each other, and the trade is the whole design question. High pressure with low flow cuts through deposit but covers little area and rebounds; lower pressure with high flow moves more material away but will not lift what is bonded. So the standard classifies the machines by their pressure and flow and specifies the performance that must be delivered at the rating, which matters commercially because a cleaner sold on its maximum pressure may reach it only at a flow at which nothing useful happens. The rest of the standard is safety, and the reason is that a water jet at these pressures is dangerous in a way that is not obvious to the person holding it. It will cut skin, and the injury it causes is a high pressure injection wound: a small entry mark with water, dirt and bacteria driven deep into the tissue, which looks trivial and is a surgical emergency. Hence the requirements on the trigger gun and its dead-man action, on the hose and its burst pressure and its retention, on the pressure relief and the unloader that must act when the trigger closes, on the electrical safety of a mains machine used in water, and on the instructions and markings that have to state what the machine can do to the operator. Issued on 19 November 2020 and in force since 1 June 2021, it replaces GB/T 26135-2010.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 26135-2010 "High Pressure Washer". Compared with GB/T 26135-2010 High Pressure Washer, the main technical changes of this standard are as follows except for editorial changes.

---The scope of application of the standard has been expanded, and the unit power has been expanded to 800kW (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2010 edition);

---Added the terms and definitions of "washing machine flow", "nozzle" and "sprinkler" (see Chapter 3);

---Improved the noise requirements for high-pressure cleaners, and the highest noise value is reduced by 1dB~3dB (sound pressure level) as a whole (see Table 1,.2010 Edition of Table 3);

---Improved the requirements of flow performance parameters (see Table 2, Table 2 of the.2010 edition);

---Improved the service life index requirements of the wearing parts of the high-pressure cleaner (see Table 6, Table 7 of the.2010 edition);

---Modified the basic parameter table (see Table A.1, Table 1 of the.2010 edition). This standard was proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Jet Equipment (SAC/TC493). Drafting organizations of this standard. Hefei General Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd., Tianjin Tongjie High Pressure Pump Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Sichuan Jet Machinery Co., Ltd., Wuxi High Pressure Cleaning Equipment Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Danong Industrial Co., Ltd., Tianjin Jingcheng High Pressure Pump Manufacturing Co., Ltd. The machine is a pump, a motor and a nozzle, and its output is a jet whose cleaning power is the product of pressure and flow - but those two are traded against each other, and the trade is the whole design question. The rest of the standard is safety, and the reason is that a water jet at these pressures is dangerous in a way that is not obvious to the person holding it. Issued on 19 November 2020 and in force since 1 June 2021, it replaces GB/T 26135-2010.

This standard specifies the type and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging and storage of high-pressure cleaners. This standard applies to the rated discharge pressure of 10MPa~300MPa, the unit power of 15kW~800kW, and the conveying medium at room temperature Clean water, a high-pressure cleaner driven by an electric motor or other prime movers (hereinafter referred to as "washing machine").

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 7785 and JB/T 12491 apply to this document.

3.1 Washing machine flow The flow rate of the washer pump under rated pressure conditions. That is, under the rated pressure of the washer pump, all the liquid discharged from the pump outlet within a unit time Body volume (converted to normal pressure).

Note. The unit is liters per minute (L/min).

3.2 Nozzle A terminal part that is composed of a single element to generate a water jet.

Note. Nozzles include single-hole nozzles, double-hole nozzles, and multi-hole nozzles with different connection methods.
