1 Foreword

JB/T 9090-2014 was issued by MIIT on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9090-1999.

2 Scope

Hydrostatic and leakage testing of positive displacement pump components is what JB/T 9090-2014 governs, as a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard. It names the test items to be assessed, the technical requirements they must satisfy, the way the tests are carried out and how the results are judged. The components it applies to are the pressure-bearing parts and static sealing assemblies of such pumps that must withstand a hydraulic test. It quotes GB/T 7785.
