1 Scope

GB/T 47096-2026 is the Chinese national standard covering cement assessed as a green product - the clinker factor, which is the single lever that matters, the alternative fuels and the waste-derived raw materials, the energy per tonne and the emissions, and the performance of the cement itself since a stronger cement means less of it. First edition, and it belongs with the cement carbon footprint standard GB/T 47635-2026 published this year. It was issued on 28 January 2026 and has been in force since 1 August 2026, as a first edition. The document is under the responsibility of the China Building Materials Federation. This document specifies the evaluation requirements for green cement products and describes the evaluation methods. This document applies to the green product evaluation of silicate cement clinker and general silicate cement.
