Scope

GB/T 37009-2018 is the English-translated version of 冶金用变频调速设备.

GB/T 37009-2018 covers the variable-frequency drives used in the metallurgical industry: high-performance, heavy-duty speed control equipment with a rated input of AC 1 kV and below at 50 Hz or 60 Hz, an output voltage of 1 kV and below and an output frequency below 300 Hz.

It gives the classification and ratings of these drives, their conditions of use, the technical requirements and the tests, together with marking, packaging, transport and storage.

It defines overload capability and harmonic component, and refers to the GB/T 17626 immunity tests and to GB/T 12668.3 for electromagnetic compatibility. Annexes deal with common DC bus configurations, layout and installation in the cabinet, communication link performance and acceptance indices for typical metallurgical process sections. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 July 2019.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the classification and rating of metallurgical frequency control equipment, operating conditions, technical requirements, test items and signs, packaging, Transportation and storage.

This standard applies to the rated input voltage is AC 1kV level and below, the rated input frequency is 50Hz or 60Hz, the output voltage 1kV and below, high-performance, heavy-duty variable frequency speed control equipment with output frequency less than 300Hz.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Overload capability

Characterizing the variable frequency speed control equipment, under the specified working conditions, can output more than the rated current within the specified time period without protection. ability.

Note 1. The frequency conversion speed control equipment for metallurgy is generally expressed in the form of a cycle. The manufacturer has to give a multiple that exceeds the rated current during this period. The time and the multiple of the relative rated current is not exceeded.
