Scope

GB/T 36125-2018 is the English-translated version of 行动不便人员运送车.

GB/T 36125-2018 covers vehicles built to carry passengers with reduced mobility, meaning people who have difficulty getting on and off a vehicle because of disability, illness or old age, most often wheelchair users.

It applies to M1 and M2 special-purpose vehicles fitted with a wheelchair access device or an automatic boarding seat, and M3 vehicles may refer to it. The standard sets the requirements, markings, test methods, inspection rules, user manual, vehicle documents, transport and storage, with a normative annex on the label.

It relies on standards for vehicle dimensions and masses, seat belts and their anchorages, seat strength, wheelchairs and the type testing of special vehicles. It is intended for vehicle manufacturers and test bodies, was issued on 14 May 2018 and has applied since 1 December 2018.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the definition, requirements, signs, test methods, inspection rules, instructions for use and accompanying vehicles for vehicles with reduced mobility. Parts, transportation, storage.

This standard is applicable to M1 and M2 special vehicles for transporting people with reduced mobility. M3 vehicles can be referred to.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 15089 and GB/T 3730.1 apply to this document.

3.1 Passenger with reduced mobility

Walking due to disability, illness (including physical injury, mental retardation, visual impairment, hypoplasia leading to physical deformity) or old and weak Inconvenience, people who have difficulty getting on and off the vehicle.

Note: Generally refers to people who travel by wheelchair.

3.2 Reduced mobility personnel transport vehicle

A passenger car equipped with a wheelchair accessible device for people with reduced mobility or an automatic boarding seat for people with reduced mobility.

Note: Also known as the Fushun car.
