Scope

GB/T 25977-2022 is the English-translated version of 除雪车.

GB/T 25977-2022 covers snow removal vehicles: machines built on a finalised complete vehicle or a second-class chassis that push or plough snow, spread material, blow or throw snow and break ice.

It sets the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules, the signs and instruction manual, and the accompanying documents, transport and storage; snow removal trailers are included, and vehicles on other chassis may follow it for reference.

The requirements reach surface quality and coatings, welding, the water and hydraulic systems, switches and lamps, night-work lighting and warning beacons, auxiliary engine emissions, reliability, and the snow shovel, roller brush, spreader, snow blower and ice breaker in turn.

Annex A classifies faults, Annex B the types and density of snow. It replaces GB/T 25977-2010, was issued on 30 December 2022 and has applied since 1 July 2023.
