Scope
GB/T 30149-2019 is the English-translated version of 电网通用模型描述规范.
GB/T 30149-2019 defines CIM/E, an efficient description format for the common information model of a power system, used for online applications and for offline exchange of power system data models.
It specifies the data templates and the data structure: the basic structure of a file, comments, the root element and system statement, the model information header, the block structure and the data block.
It also defines the difference model with its own structure and data block, and the class definition template CIM/E Schema, with its class description and enumeration class data blocks and composite types.
Two use cases are described, real-time model sharing and online dynamic stability analysis; Annex A gives an example. It defines CIM, XML and RDF and cites IEC 61970-452.
It replaces GB/T 30149-2013, was issued on 4 June 2019 and has applied since 1 January 2020.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 30149-2013 "General Specifications for Power Grid Description", compared with GB/T 30149-2013, the main technology The changes are as follows.
--- Added standard use cases (see Chapter 5);
--- Modified the symbol definition of the original standard. The advantage of the revision is that the description of CIM/E follows the XML syntax, which is easy to parse. More rigorous (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the 2013 edition);
---Modified the original standard structure specification, added model head description (such as <Fulmodel/> Used to give an overall description of the model, If the model is an incremental model or a full model, the model corresponds to the template, the creation time and other information (see Chapter 6, 2013 edition of the first Chapter 5);
--- Increased the definition of the difference model (see Chapter 7);
--- Added a composite data type description (see 8.5).
1 Scope
This standard specifies an efficient description format for the public information model of the power system, including data templates and data structure specifications.
This standard applies to online applications and offline exchange of power system data models.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Public information model (CIM)
An abstract model that represents all the main objects that are typically needed to build models for all aspects of business operations in a power utility. The model contains the public classes and properties of these objects, and the relationships between them. [DL/Z890.2-2010, definition 3.8]
3.2 Extensible markup language (XML)
A subset of the Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) used to insert structured data into a text file. [DL/Z890.2-2010, definition 3.26]
3.3 Resource description framework (RDF)
A language recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to represent metadata that a machine can simply process. RDF uses XML As an internal grammar. [DL/Z890.2-2010, definition 3.47]
3.4 Resource Description Framework Pattern (RDF Schema)
A pattern specification language represented by a resource description framework that describes resources and their properties, including how resources are related to other resources. Linked to specify the mode specified by the application. [DL/Z890.2-2010, definition 3.48]
3.5 CIM/XML model
The CIM RDF model is used as a metamodel framework to construct an XML document of the general model of the power system. The style of these documents is called CIM/XML format used to describe and exchange general models of power systems.
