3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 relay protection information

A collection of information output by the device that can reflect the operating status of the power system, the working status of the secondary circuit and the working status of the device itself.

Note. Relay protection information includes action information, alarm information, etc.

3.2 intermediate node information

Protects information generated within the device after startup.

Note. The intermediate node information includes the key logic points of the protection function, state quantities, and calculated analog quantities of the protection elements.

3.3 Intelligent electronic device; IED

Any device consisting of one or more processors that has the capability to receive and transmit data from an external source or to control an external source, i.e., an electronic multifunction Instruments, microcomputer protection, controllers, which can perform one or more logical contact tasks within the scope of the interface under specific conditions. entity.
