GB/T 22939.1-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the box a home appliance travels in — the climatic conditioning at low temperature, at high temperature and at high temperature with high humidity, the static clamping the packs meet on a forklift, the stacking, the sine and random vibration, the horizontal impact and the drop, and the packaging marking, including the recycling mark and the limits on excessive packaging that the transport tests say nothing about. Part 1 of the series, and the general requirements every particular part builds on. It replaces GB/T 1019-2008, under the China National Light Industry Council. In force from 1 November 2025. Issued on 25 April 2025, it has been in force since 1 November 2025, replacing GB/T 1019-2008.

Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.
This document is Part 1 of GB/T 22939 "Packaging for Household and Similar Electrical Appliances". GB/T 22939 has been published for the following part.
— Part 1: General requirements;
— Part 2: Particular requirements for range hoods;
— Particular requirements for vacuum cleaners and water suction cleaning appliances;
— Special requirements for microwave ovens;
— Part 5: Particular requirements for electric washing machines and dryers;
— Special requirements for refrigerators;
— Special requirements for air conditioners.
This document replaces GB/T 1019-2008 "General rules for packaging of household and similar electrical appliances".
In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
— Deleted the terms and definitions of "general requirements", "moisture-proof packaging", "mildew-proof packaging", "rust-proof packaging" and "vibration-proof packaging" (see GB/T 1019- 2008 (3.1, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6);
— Added the terms and definitions of “household and similar electrical appliances” (see 3.1);
— Deleted the technical requirements for "moisture-proof packaging", "mildew-proof packaging", "rust-proof packaging", "vibration-proof packaging" and "recycled materials" (see GB/T 1019-2008 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6);
— Added requirements and methods for low temperature storage test (see 4.2.1, 5.2.1);
— The content of test preparation has been changed (see 5.1.1, 5.1.2, 5.1 of GB/T 1019-2008);
— Deleted the test conditions, moisture resistance test, mildew resistance test, and rust resistance test methods (see 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5);
— Added requirements and methods for high temperature storage test (see 4.2.2, 5.2.2);
— Added requirements and methods for high temperature and high humidity storage test (see 4.2.3, 5.2.3);
— Added requirements and methods for static clamping test (see 4.3.1, 5.3.1);
— Changed the requirements and methods of vibration test (see 4.3.4, 5.3.3, 5.6 of GB/T 1019-2008);
— Deleted the requirements and methods for direct stacking test (see 5.7.1 of GB/T 1019-2008);
— The requirements and methods of stacking test have been changed (see 4.3.2, 4.3.3, 5.3.2, 5.7 of GB/T 1019-2008);
— Changed the requirements and methods of drop test (see 4.3.5, 5.3.4.1, 5.9 of GB/T 1019-2008);
— Changed the requirements for packaging marking (see Chapter 6, Chapter 6 of GB/T 1019-2008).

Introduction
GB/T 22939 "Packaging for Household and Similar Electrical Appliances" is divided into several parts, consisting of general requirements and special requirements. Part 1 The following are general requirements, and the rest are special requirements. For products covered by special requirements, the packaging requirements are the combination of general requirements and the special requirements.
